bahUnAm janmanAm ante jñAnavAn mAm prapadyate |

vAsudevah sarvam iti sa mahAtmA sudurlabhah ||

(7.19) 33

At the end of many births the man of wisdom takes refuge in Me,

knowing ³Vasudeva, the indwelling Self, is all.²

Such a great soul is indeed hard to find.

---

He who abides in all beings and who is the abode of all beings, by dint of His

universal Grace 'I am that Vasudeva, I am that Vasudeva.''(Amrtabindupanishad)

Enquiring within, the great soul sees everything in the Self and the Self in

everything. The many births of man, like waking, dream and sleep, can never

affect the eternal Self.
