Guest guest
Chadwick: Has my sitting here all these years been just a waste of time? Must I go and look for some Guru in order to receive initiation seeing that Bhagavan says he is not a Guru? Bhagavan: What do you think brought you here such a long distance and made you remain so long? Why do you doubt? If there had been any need to seek a Guru elsewhere you would have gone away long ago. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Osborne: Ramana Maharshi and the Path of Selfknowledge ~~~~~~~~~~
Guest guest
Thank You Gabriele for this posting! I was born and brought up in Madurai. Still, I knew nothing of Bhagavan until I was 38 years old. By His grace,I visited the house where Bhagavan lived in Madurai last month. It is now maintained by Ramanashram and a very kind man by name Somasundaram is in charge of maintaining the house. It was a blessing for me to see the room where Bhagavan had his first experience with "death" in 1896. The house is very near the South Tower of the famous Meenakshi Temple in Madurai.
