in the Heart-Cave's Centre Brahman ever shines,

There all alone as 'I-I' , Self-Aware.

Realize this firm adherence in the Self,

Entering the Heart by diving deep within

Through Self-Enquiry ,or with breath-control,

Causing the mind to sink within the Self.

Trans.Chadwick

This is a repetition of the famous Eki Sloka, Ch.II V.2 of the Ramana Gita and

the Forty Verses

Verse 28 ,continued in verses 29 and 30.Similar verses appear in verses 11 and

13 of the Thirty

Verses. So it shows how impotant Ramana considered this verse. Some commenmtators

have said it

contains the theory and practice of his teaching in a few lines. It is another

approach to Self

Enquiry called Diving and Plunging Into the Heart which many devotees find

beneficial including

this writer .The method and efficacy of this skill is fully discussed in the

Sat Darshan Bhashya

by K .This masterpiece of Ramana literature was written by Kapali Sastriar under

the guidance of

Ganapati Muni and shown to Sri Bhagavan for approval[memoirs of 'K'].

Pages57,101, 104 ,107,108,109 and 126 of the Sat Darshan comment extensively on

this practice

which leads to the loosening and severance of the Granthi Knot see Chapter ix

on this in the

Ramana Gita .The book the Technique of Maha Yoga publ. by Ramanasramaman also

talks about this

practice .
