Guest guest
Some of the postings from Jiva Das on this list made me wonder as to how anybody, who declares that Ramana is his Guru, could be so insensitive to others' feelings. We think several times bfore writing to groups like this as it is read by so many learned and advanced devotees. Using the language, which we hesitate to utter even in any social circles, in forums such as Ramana Group makes me think that he is not 'normal' and requires real help from Bhagavan. The first progress that one witnesses in spiritual saadhana is that one tends to be extremely nonviolent. One avoids violence in thought and word also .If that is not achieved, there is no progress at all I really appreciate the patience shown by members on this site. It pained me and hurt me when I read the statement '' Bhagavan's mother controlled the ashram before chinna swami" ( Ignorance of facts and wrong conclusions from the available literature only could bring such statements. ) Even Brunton was not spared. May be there were some differences in some quarters. But can we ignore what Brunton did to bring Bhagavan's grace to sevaral devotees who would be deeply indebted to him ?. He did wonderful service to spiritual world through his book. Hope the forum will be used to spread spiritual fragrance and not other wise Jai Sri Ramana Ramana Sarma

Through the growing knowledge of the unity between Jivatman and Paramatman the distinction vanishes, whose then is the violence and upon whom is it inflicted? > Even Brunton was not spared. His books were invaluable. > > Hope the forum will be used to spread spiritual fragrance and not other > wise As the Heart-Lotus unfolds and blossoms, the Fragrance is unmistakable! The best fertilizer is surely the warming ray of Bhakti and the best weedkiller, why... Vicara,... of course. Guest guest
Dear Ramana Sarma, > The first progress that one witnesses in spiritual saadhana is that one > tends to be extremely nonviolent. Avoidance of all kinds of violance is a prerequisite. > > Hope the forum will be used to spread spiritual fragrance and not other > wise So this should be. So hopefully we will find back to that now. We may swerve away from time to time - but at least we will find ourselves again at Bhagavan's feet and he may put his feet on our head, the mind, the ego who wants rise and prove itself.
