Guest guest
Fw: Bhagavan's further progress effortless Dear Viorica: dear Alton , in this formation - Internet group- we talk. and in the talking 'about' - some enjoy some subjects more other enjoy different kind of subjects more. Alton: Right now I have had enough teachings and prefer devotee's experience with Bhagavan. Like all the teachings can be summed up like this: Place you attention on your attention and when the attention eats up the attention your will realize the SELF. Anyone have another take on the aforesaid? the best benefit one can have from this is the enjoyment and the hints or pushes one get to turn over even stronger to one's sadhana. Alton: I only enjoy when I make some progress, either in the amount of time I sit, a lessoning of discursive thoughts or being able to catch my mind in a timely fashion when the thought identifications appear. Otherwise this sadhana is just like worldly suffering. Right now it is suffering or unwilling to experience. if this push to or strengthening of focus on one's sadhana doesn't happen , they we are simply wasting each other's time . Alton: The very fact that we are viewing or participating in this Ramana list is proof positive that we are focusing on sadhana. When we are no longer interested then that focus automatically becomes cloudy, or we find another list that interests us. as i see from your questions , you rejected a guru by comparison to Ramana Maharshi. Maybe my answer sounds unfair , but by such a comparison all other gurus are at a loss , they can't face such a comparison . So what happened in your case , you accepted even more Ramana Maharshi by means of this comparison . You are now even closer to him and his pull on you has already begun. Now - I would say - this is progress. That may be true but I seem to be depressed lately with low energy for sitting practice. I have a feeling that I need a new body to continue my sadhana, or maybe a cloning. Maybe I will volunteer for duty in Iraq. Aloha a thousand times from my golden heaven to yours , vi. Heaven in not is any outside place. Che tempo fa. The weather in heavenly SELF is always bliss, so they tell me. What have you heard? Loving Sri Ramana, Alton
