Guest guest
Dear Group, I have posted "Who am I with comments and practice notes." This is a more refined version of what I had earlier posted on the newsgroup on paragraph at a time. I see this as a 'living document,' since I am but a seeker, still growing in my own experience and knowledge of the Self. I offer this with the hope that it encourages others to read "Who am I?" and to practice and experience what they read. AS always, your comments are invited. Guest guest
Dear b, When I talk about how I see myself as a seeker, I am really talking about the extent of my Self-knowledge. Certainly the Self is not something that is to be known by the mind/ego/body. However there is a deeper Knowledge than that of the mind. My teacher talks about this Knowledge as on the same level as you know that you exist. When you know that you are the Self at this same level, this Knowledge alone is what constitues Self-realization. And where I am in my practice is that my intellect is more and more certain that the Truth is true. With that greater certainly, the self-inquiry continues to deepen. I look at my stand and I see that I still stand as "Richard" as this mind/body/ego, and know that I need to keep practicing. Thanks for your comments. Thus our private identity has been established in each of us as our own personal tradition. ~ Ramesh Balsekar LoveAlways, b
