Dear friends and adversaries:

I am, because of a dirt of meditation practice today, addressing a number or

posts en masse. See below for snips and snippy posts.

The whole spiritual trip is like seeking "the horns of the hare" It is all due

to highly conditioned imagination. Gurus opine according to their cultural

conditioning and mental/physical gifts that came upon them. Ramana had this mega

strong body so that he did not need to do hardly any exercise. Rats gnawed at

his legs and no infections ensued. Ramana looked askance at hatha yoga because

for him if would have been a waste of effort. If Alton did not do hatha yoga and

concentrate on diet, he would become a basket case with a back that gave so much

pain that bed confinement would prevail. That has been his history.

Some Gurus say you don't hardly have to meditate and if you do it might only

build an intractable ego. Other Guru that meditated long hours proscribed the

same to their followers. If you don't like to meditate then you will naturally

seek a Guru who tells you what you want to hear.

This whole so called spiritual journey to me is like training for the OLYMPICS.

There is no God or spiritual trip. It is all about learning and mastering

techniques and learning about the nature of the order of the universe. A certain

Guru says souls must have a living Guru permanently delete the "I" thought.

Surely he is entitled to his opinion and will have many that agree with his

arguments. If someone wishes to be a slave to Guru or God so be it, but Alton is

not going to chase "the horns of the hare"

If the list owner Viorica, Miles, Netemara take umbrage to my pontifications

then they may ban me, but I will seek retribution by developing siddhis and have

a porn site co-host their groups.

Please don't try to frighten me by telling me I might be born as an animal. They

seem happier then most souls I know, whether on the vaunted spiritual trip or

into sensual pleasures. At least I wont have some shrink, that has stock in a

drug company, proscribe anti-depressants.

ROFLMAO.

More No Mind later today I hope.

LOVE FROM THE QUASI ATHEIST,

Alton

Well, if we see this world as a nice place to be, then we can stay

here, for ages more. No problem. We can continue in the seemingly

endless cycle of reincarnations, but then, we face another risk. We

might lose the human form and be born as a jack-ass, or as an

orangutan. Would you still like this world, then? :-) Christ

don't want to follow the path, run the risk of being born as a worm,

or a fly. What do you think about that, Alton?

Alton, I have backtracked on this site to see where this thread began

and ended. It makes me a little sad to see you in spiritual distress.

But the greatest breakthrough I had was in the pit of an egoic

darkness, of course of my own making. After which I had the greatest

spiritual understanding of death by dying to the little self. It is

all within. And having many planets in Libra in this life, I have

sought the balance and am trying to bring balance to the group of

which you have made me owner.

Balance, balance and more balance however you might attain it is my

only advice Dearest Alton......

You know our ties go back aeons......

in love and remembrance

Dear Alton,

whatever someone says - and even if it is Ramana - it is not enough

to be fixed on words - even not for a devotee. Of what use is it to

repeat the teaching endlessly and cling on every word if

understanding does not down by own practice? We have to find out who

we really are for ourselves. This is the path and nothing else. The

guru can't simply transmit it but he will help in different ways

according to the need of the disciple.

The guru will do nothing else than to kick us back to this eternal

quest so long until it is finished. The outer guru does it from

outwards, the inner guru draws then from within. That's the whole

thing about the guru and the disciple - nothing less and nothing

more. And it is the greatest gift to us.

Love to you

Gabriele
