O Lord Parameshwara!

I have love for you.

I have also the ardent desire

to be meditating upon your lotus feet.

But my fickle mind is not allowed me to do so.

The desires in my mind are a legion.

I will confess all of them to you.

If you have compassion for me,

kindly grant me steadfastness of mind.
