Merger and destruction are the two types of control.

That which has merged comes back again, not that which

is destroyed.

Lulling and killing are two ways of silencing the

mind. The lulled mind will rise again, not the one

that is killed.

Through control of breath, mind is merged.

By means of one-pointed thought it is destroyed .

A way to liberate the mind that is quietened by

breath-control is to destroy its form (by one-pointed

thought).

For the Great Yogi whose mind is destroyed, who abides

in His own Self, is there anything to be done?

(Thus) as the mind is destroyed, for the Great Yogi

who is established in Truth, there is nothing more to

do. He has attained His own Self.
