Israel, the biggest foe of the Muslim world is reduced to a heap of dust within 6 days as the anger against USA and its Allies is initially directed towards Israel (Without support from the outside world this becomes a possibiility). India, the biggest democratic setup of the world and a country par excellence for its doctrines of "Ahimsa" given by "Lord Mahavira" now begins to rise from slumber. People feel in themselves the mighty potential which lay hidden in them for centuries. "Satyug" ended in India around AD 1000. There is no point in trying to dig looking for faults. Let everyone realize their worth and build up on their strengths. The faults will eventually drop out. Nothing great has ever been achieved by condemnation; it only makes people get defensive and get deeper into their shells. Condemnation, that too on mailing lists, is a sure sign of ego and is against sadhana. I guess everyone on this list in more interested in the Self than in the self. The only personal attach that I ever did on Harsha's board was saying that Harsha turned UGLY. IMO someone who claims to be realized and will not answer simple questions and then attacks the veracity of someone else that anwered my questions fully has turned ugly. Debate here means to question and verify, which is what the Bhagavan advises everyone. In fact, the vedanta itself says that you must first learn, then question and verify. At the end either you will have the knowledge or doubts for resolution. Ideally, in the ancient world, debate was used to put forward ideas, defend them so long as they see truth in what they believe and at the same time try to understand and learn or help the other person thereby benefitting themselves and the community as a whole. This is exactly what I had in mind when I meant debate. Which is why I used the word, Satyameva Jayathe will always win. When the ego comes in, anything will get dirty. Be it debate or love or devotion.
