Guest guest
The first verse which Sri Bhagavan selected from Sankara's Hymn to Siva gives an excellent definition of Bhakti (devotion) "Just as the falling seeds of the Ankola tree attach themselves to its trunk, the needle sticks to the magnet, the chaste woman to her lord, the creeper to the supporting plant, and the river flows to the ocean, so, if the flow of the mind reaches the Lotus Feet of the Lord of souls, Siva, and remains there always, that is called devotion."
