In tamil they call it sambrani. In Sanskrit it is called Guggul. There are

different types of guggul, like commifera mukul gugul, salai gugul, etc. It is

the resin which comes out of the bark of a tree. In English it is called

Boswellia Serrata. This is very useful in arthritis. and is an anti

inflammatory. In kannada and telugu and malayalam also it is called sambrani.

Hope u get the meaning. Sometimes it is used as burning incense for ladies to

dry theri hair in its fumes after bath.
