Jai Gurudev!!!

I was searching siddhashram.org, and am thinking of taking Guru

Diksha. In the FAQ, it explains that a recent photograph must be

sent. Before I explain further, let me give a brief background.

I am 17 years old, and live in Virginia in the U.S. My parents for

the most part are opposed to me sending my pic and money cause they

feel I'm getting brainwashed or I will become powerful with mantras

and easily cause "harm to them." How foolish!!! I e-mailed

mtyv early March, got a reply mid-March saying

Gurudev would read my problem, but I haven't gotten a reply through

mail yet. I'm pretty sure Gurudev is really busy now. But I'm

determined not to let this stop me because I desperately need

guidance

in my life.

The fact that I have no recent pictures and no camera doesn't help

much either. However, I do have a web camera which allows me to take

pictures on my computer. I was wondering if I could send a photo via

internet to mtyv or just print out the picture in

(black and white) and send it via mail? If nobody knows the answer,

could someone who is close to Gurudham get info.? I would really

really appreciate this help. Thank you all very much.

that would be my last option if I'm not able to do what I mentioned.

Plus, I believe doing those custom photos are the same price as

buying

a roll of film. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Jai Gurudev!

i take it you are currently in india. Here, the cost for getting a

single photo is similar to buying a roll of film which takes around 24

pictures.

Yes when you send your photo you are required to send

$170 US draft. Someone said why should they charge.

Simple. It does cost money to run the org. I suppose and

then they have to get all the materials for pooja. If it was a

scam they would have asked for a round number like $200 or

100 . Anyone care to comment ?

I also find there are many emails coming through with

messages that can cause damage to the computer.

However my security software quarantines those emails.

Why is someone hell bent on sending virus loaded emails

through the newsgroup is beyond me.

run the organization.. but 170$ ? dont u think thats too much? if i were

in india then also do i have to pay the same amount? i.e. 8500

rupess?...coz if its cheaper i can ask somebody from there to send the

yes nazir u r right money is needed to run the organisation. One can't depend on

donations if one wants to carry out things in a planned manner.

Whatever dikshaas or mantra have recited they have never failed to give some

experience. If one can get a siddhi for Mahalakshmi. Then i say one is tuning

2100/- in to crores and moreover knowledge is priceless. Of course nothing will

happen unless u have pious and devoted heart and right motives.

i guess sometines teens do that and other are people who weren't able to bear

the hardshipos of life and tunred in to pscho's. They are trying to express

their hard feelings by harming others. It can also be companies who wants to

sell anti-virus softwares. first create one and then sell softwares for

removing it.
