Guest guest Posted April 9, 2002 Report Share Posted April 9, 2002 Once upon a time, a brother of ours said that we should be careful in the way we conduct ourselves in this discussion list. We are here not as individuals. We represent Gurudev here, and the way we deal, talk communicate is a reflection on him. Maintaining dignity and grace is of utmost importance. While ideas can differ, and difference of opinion is of course healthy, we should restrict it to discussing spirituality as promoted by Gurudev, and not indulge in personal comments of any kind. We are not here to discuss people, their limitations, looks etc or to be kind to their faults by saying which we try to propose that we are above them, and we should realize before making such statements that we are no one to judge in the first place. Messages here should be posted with a soulful dedication to the Gurudev and the knowledge he brought down for us. To reject his knowledge is to reject him. Mantras, sadhanas, experiences should all be talked about unafraid of our lack of experience. Lastly, I, a silent member would like to say that this group should not be reduced to a bunch of bitter, self obsessed back biters which it seems to have become.
