since birendraji appreciates my(?) poems so much

and evryone talks philosophy which i definitely do not understand,

something about shiva and vishnu??,

i will post something

which i am sorry but i cannot insult by translating

ajar amar hai parbati shiv aur kailash pe raht the

aao un ke jeevan ka ham subdar kissa kehte hain

baithe baithe uma ne ek din man me nishchaya thaan liya

shiv ji ki aagyaa le ke laxmi ke ghar prasthan kiya

shankar ne chaha bhi rokna kintu man me aayaa hai

prabhu iccha bin hile na patta

yeh un hi ki maaya hai

man hi hai bekaar me jo sankalp vikalp banata hai

jidhar chahta hai man udhar yeh praani daur ke jaata hai

man sab ko bhatkaye jag me kya nar aur kya naari

parbati chal pari vahan se

man me harsh hua bhari

laxmi ke mehlon me mera swagat hoga sukhkaari

aksmaat milte hi soochna mujhe samne paayengi

ulta apna raaj bhavan us ko dikhlaati firti thee

nowkar chaakar dhan ke bal par woh ithlaati phirti thee

agar mili bhi rookhe man se woh abhimaan ki maari

parvati se boli woh jis ko tripurari kehte hain

kahan hai tera patidev sab jise bikhaari kehte hain

chinta aur trishool favari phati hui mrig chala hai

aisi hi jaydaad ko le ke kahan pe dera daala hai?

pravati ne suna to us ki krodh jwala bharak uthi

honth dhadhakte the dono aur beech me jivya farak uthi

boli uma ki tumne chahe mera na sanmaan kiya bin hi kaaran

mere pati ka tum hai apmaan kiya

unhen bikhaari kehte hue kuch tum ko aati laaj nahin

sach yeh hai ki tere pati ko beekhbina koi kaaj nahin

wohi bikhaari ban ke raja shivi ke yahan gaya hga

ya phir baaman ban ke raaja bali ke yahan gaya hoga

jahan bhi dekha us ne wahin pe apni jholi tangi thi

rishi dadhrrchi se haddiyon tak ki us ne bhiksha mangi thi

shankar ko to jag wale kehte hain bhole bhandaari

(apparently their wives are anything but neutral...)

damroo wale baba teri leela hai nyaari

parvati ne laxmi ko yoon jali aur kati sunaayi thi

phir bhi bojhal man se woh kailash laut ke aayi thi

antaryaami ne poocha kyon chehra aaj udaas hua

sab batlaya kaise that laxmi ke ghar uphaas hua

boli aaj se ann jal ko biklul nahin haath lagaoungi

bhookhi pyaasi reh kar ke main apne praan gavaoungi

mera jeevan chahte hain phir mera kehna bhi keeje

jaise main chahti hoon vaise mehal mujhe banwa deeje

mehal banenge grah pravesh par laxmi ko bulwaana hai

meri antim iccha hai us ko neecha dikhlaana hai

us se badla loongi main dekhegi duniya saari

shankar bole parvati se man par bojh na lao tum

bhool jao sab karvi baaten aaur man shant banao tum

maan aur apmaan hai kya sab yoon hi samjha jaata hai

dukhi wohi hota hai jo oonche se neeche aata hai

isi liye hamne dharti par aasan sada bichaaya hai

maan aur apmaan se hat ke andand khoob uthaaya hai

meri mano gussa choro is me hai sukh bhari

(shiva is neutral...)

is this not much better of comparing gods !!??

anyway the story goes on a huge mansion is made better than laxmi's

and

agrah pravesh us held. with parvati's desire fulfilled, rishi

visharbha does

the poojan and havan. after that everyone is given daan and dakshina

shiv is especially pleased with this pandit.

shankar bole aap ke aane se ham sach much dhanya hue

mango jo bhi mangna chao ham hain bahut prassan hue

pandit bola kya sach much hi meri jholi bhar degi abhi abhi jo kah aap

ne

vachan woh poora kar denge

shankar bole haan haan tere man me koi shanka hai

mera vachan sat hota hai yeh ten lok me danka hai

so the pandit asks the mehal he has just done havan for

jis ne bhi yeh shaabd sune to sun ke bra aagahaat hua

parvati me man par to jaise aabajarpaat hua

boli uma ai btrahman tum ne soyi kala jagayi hai

mere armano ki basti me ek aag lagaayi hai

mera hai yeh shraap ki aakhir ik din woh bhi aayega

hari bhari teri duniya ka naam talak mit jayega

...etc etc

so this man was ravan's father. sita sitting there was lakshmi,

hanumaan burning the lanka is a roop of shiva himself

but i do love it when my mothers fight....

but think the plight of the fathers, poor siva and vishnu.

oh i didnt knew that there was so much history for ravana's lanka

getting burned, from which scripture did u pick this poem. whenever u

are

not feeling good one of the constructive way i feel is to post poems,

and , in that process u would forget

urself and people like me will be benefitted.

Lord siva's nature is highlighted very beautifully and subtly

symbolicaly

i cant think of mother parvati and lakshmi disputigng like that...

and mother lakshmi behaviour is kind of strange...

affectionately

It truly depicts the Nature of Lord Shiva..Beautifully. I agree

And those lines

"Jo Baitha hai Dharti par use neeche kaun girayega."

So true.

If anyone needs MP3 for this Bhajan PM me on

When I was a child I used to listen to this bhajan but lost that cassette( I am talking about 15 years back) . When I came across your post I couldn't resist myself to ask you a small favor. Can you please send me the mp3 of this bhajan to or let me know the name of the album.

I tried to send the mail to but it got bounced.
