As far as I know, this is NOT allowed. Every mantra has it's own

sound, it's own significance. Each sadhana has it's own dimension

since life is multi-dimensional and one can't be replaced with other.

Guru Mantra is very versatile and Guru Sadhana can be used to tackle

almost all situations, but still, you are not allowed to manipulate

any sadhana's procedure on your own.

Have a nice day.

Jai Gurudev.

I too agree. Each Sadhana has its own mantras, yantra and specific

process. U cant just replace the deity mantra with Guru Mantra.

However, for maximum benefit, you may enclose the specific deity

mantra within Guru Mantra by chanting 1 mala of Guru Mantra both

before and after the deity's mantra. This will enhance the power of

deity/sadhana Mantra.

Thanks for the quick reply .Dear ashish,Do you allow me to

argue at one point .GURU is the sum total of all the Gods and in GURU

GEETA it says " MANTRA MOOLAM GURU VAKYAM" (GURU MANTRA IS THE ROOT

OF ALL THE MANTRAS )and wont GURU bless us with SIDHHI on any mantra

if we repeat the GURU MANTRA alone. now you confuse me totally dear

please do reply. I really await your reply pal

Very true. Just as most of our surroundings come from nature like

food, clothes, air, water, furniture etc. Then, why not use any one

of these for all purposes. How about eating air, drinking air,

wearing air and living in air? Moreover, all of your body is made of

same substance, then why use your eyes to see, nose to smell, mouth

to speak and eat etc. Why not use any one organ for all works?

I hope you now understand that every mantra, every thing; though

originated from a single source, has it's own unique, non-negotiable

function; it's own unique, non-negotiable importance.

Have a great day.

To encapsulate any mantra with Guru Mantra, first chant 1 mala of

Guru Mantra, then chant the desired number of any mantra and lastly,

chant 1 mala of Guru Mantra again.

Hope it helps.

Dear Pranay

Just relax. Whatever has been told till now by Ashish and Arvind is

very correct. In a step by step procedure, it is like this that

- In mornig you are supposed to perform Guru Pujan i.e. 4 rosary of

Guru Mantra, 1 rosary of Chetna Mantra and 1 rosary of Gayatri Mantra

(for pujan procedure you can go according to Dainik Sadhna Vidhi book)

- If you have to perform any other sadhna in the morning itself, you

can immediately start that after guru pujan. Chant to appropriate

round of rosary of particular sadhna and after finishing that sadhna

chant 1 rosary of Guru Mantra again.

- If you are performing sadhna any other time like in night or

evening, before starting any sadhna chant 1 rosary of Guru Mantra

first and then do the particular sadhna and then again chant 1 rosary

of Guru Mantra.

Chanting more and more Guru Mantra is always good. In your free time

you can chant Guru Mantra or whenever, wherever you feel you can go

for mansik jap of guru mantra.

I think this is enough to clear your doubts.

Jaya Guru Dev

Pranaya's line is on Durlavopanishad and he is correct.

There are many prerequisites or prequalifications to eb able to do GUru

Sadhana and yes, thru Guru Sadhana you can attain all siddhis.

Pls liston to Durlavopanishad Cassette in Param Pujya Guru Dev's Bani. If

you believe you can attain that level. Yes Guru Siddhi will give you all 53

(?) siddhis in the world.

Ashish was trying to tell you that Guru Mantra is a different issue

and sadhanas of various dieties is totally another issue, he means to

tell that sadhana procedure for a particlar diety has a its own unique

mantra and its intended effect... if you sway away from

procedure,results dont come...(spiritually scientific...)

so we cant manipulate it.

but to solve the same problem i believe that you can just chant Guru

Mantram and get it solved instead of doing the whole procedure.

As Bishnuji said of Durlabhoupnishad....

Its matter of faith in the path and idealogies that we believe....

the beauty of this world is diversity....

so everyone has choosen his own path.... so everyone is right in his

own sense if he follows any of the path told by Shastharas or Gurudev

if i am there i defenitely would not go any where beyond GURU Mantra

for any of my problem solutions(immaterial of whether the problem is

getting solved or not), such is my belief in Guru and GuruMantra.

But at the same time i appreciate the beauty of other dieties and

sadhanas ,as all are part of Gurudev, so even we can do sadhanas

thinking diety as part of Gurudev.....

>GURU is the sum total of all the Gods

i believe only this principle.

> and in GURU

> GEETA it says " MANTRA MOOLAM GURU VAKYAM" (GURU MANTRA IS THE ROOT

> OF ALL THE MANTRAS )

The right interpetation of this shloka in Guru Gita is.....

SHLOKA FOLLOWS....

dhyanamulam¸ gurormoorti² poojamoolam¸ guro² padam |

mantramoolam¸ gurorvakya¸ mokshamoolam¸ guro² kripah ||

INTERPRATATION FOLLOWS....

The form of Guru is the root of meditation. The feet of Guru are the

root of worship. THE TEACHING OF THE GURU IS THE ROOT OF ALL MANTRAS.

The Grace of Guru is the root of Salvation.

This interpretation is of a realised soul, if i come across a

different interpreatation from some other realised soul ill try to

post it...

>and wont GURU bless us with SIDHHI on any mantra

> if we repeat the GURU MANTRA alone.

bishnuji has repiled , and i too tried to reply...

still if you have doubts post it....

>now you confuse me totally dear

> please do reply. I really await your reply pal

i hope you dont have any consfusion now...

though iam not ashish but still replying.

Nice to learn that you are reading/following GURU GEETA.

Dont worry you cant remain confused.

As a matter of fact i believe in the down slokha given in GURU GITA...

saptakothimahamantra cittavibhramakaraka |

eka eva mahamantro gururityaksharadvayam ||

The seven crores of great Mantras are all for the bewilderment of the

mind. There is only

one great Mantra, the two-lettered word "Gu-ru."

For me the 2 lettered word is everything to me...

iam lost in the 2 lettered ocean,

i just cant think of going beyond this 2 letter word ,forget about the

whole Guru Mantra.

(i mean to say that 2 lettered word is itself sufficient to merge me

in that infinity,

you dont even in fact require the whole Guru Mantra)

Warm Regards and best wishes

love

Jai Gurudev....

Thanx for the so freindly reply pal i too respect other deities and

believe that mantra is a science but instead of begging to other

deities why dont we depend on Guru Kripa alone. It wll give us Bhoga

as well as Moksha.after all after of 1000's of births of striving one

gets a SADGURU. when one knows the Emperor why to go to a Minister.

I beg my pardon to other deities BUT ARENT THEY PARTS AND PARCEL

OF THE GURU MANDALA ITSELF after all how can you divide something

AKHANDA MANDALAKAR into finite parts Havent you seen the universal

Being picture in MTYV.
