[4prachar] Some Proposed Guidelines

Jai Gurudev,

First things first. Charanjitji, I am NOT talking about closing down

Hindi site. Let all good things and ideas flourish!

I have tried to jot down some guidelines for article content etc. on

brinkster site-

 

a. We will NOT reproduce the actual magazine/book or cassette content

into this sadhak site. We will NOT upload entire books or magazine

content, basically we act as a complement to www.siddhashram.org and

we will assist in propagating and spreading Gurudev's message. We

will not infringe copyrights.

 

b. Having said above, we will seek Gurudev's permission to use

extracts from individual articles and content from books or cassettes

or mag in the following way-

 

We will maintain a separate category called "preparatory content for

www.siddhashram.org". This will contain articles which will be of

more relevance in www.siddhashram.org instead of sadhak site.

Examples are list of answers to common questions, actual articles

from mag/books, recordings of discourses/cassettes etc.

In case, someone wants to type/upload an entire mag article or

chapter from book (as a guidance to content), then we will put that

article in this category.

Periodically all articles from this category will be sent to

www.siddhashram.org. Once they are put up in www.siddhashram.org,

with permission of Gurudev, then they will be deleted from sadhak

site. This will ensure copyright etc. and will also help those

sadhaks who want to do service by uploading articles from mag.,books

or cassettes. I am willing to coordinate with Gurudham about this.

 

c. We will seek Gurudev's permission to put individual reviews of

books, cassettes etc. in sadhak site.

 

d. All articles published on the sadhak site will contain reference

to the various places from where content of those articles has been

taken from.

 

e. Sadhak site will continue to contain original, individual

articles, photos etc. from disciples,sadhaks and other individuals.

 

f. We will send suggestion to Gurudham to open up a hindi/other

language content section within www.siddhashram.org to contain

articles in hindi/other languages.

 

g. We will speak to Gurudev and seek permission to link sadhak site

with www.siddhashram.org. www.siddhashram.org can contain a section

called "voice of sadhaks" which will link to sadhak brinkster site.

 

h. I feel that Ashishji deserves a lot of credit for implementing

this excellent idea of sadhak site. It is his brainchild, and he has

done this work very well. He deserves commendation, and ideally i

will like him to speak to Gurudev personally. I also understand that

he is busy in his work, and for some reason or other is unable to

meet Guruji. I don't want to take credit for something which i havent

done, and will never take credit for something which i havent done.

However, it is imperative that we seek Gurudev's permission and

blessings for this venture. Anuji also was not able to do it in delhi

inspite of her best efforts.

I propose following for this. Ashishji , please give me passwords and

userids (to my mail address) so that I can truthfully tell Gurudev

that along with Ashishji, I also can participate in review and

control of content of sadhak site. I will explain to Him about

Ashishji, about his idea, about content and plan of sadhak site and

endeavour to take permission. I will also help Ashishji in uploading

content in sadhak site. Ashsihji, I will also appreciate if u cud

send me a private email containing some more info about u (i guess u

r from chattisgarh), ur business, when u came in contact with Guruji

etc. so that I can answer Guruji's questions.

 

We need to provide following credit_info for these articles in sadhak

site-

 

a.

Divine Quotations ....

Contains extracts from various books & MTYV mag issues

 

b.Step by Step...part II

Contains extracts from Dainik Sadhana Vidhi

 

c. Step by Step...part III

Contains extracts from various books & MTYV mag issues

 

d. How to destroy problems

Contains extracts from cassettes and mails received from Gurudham

also contains portions from postings to made by

 

e. Diksha Rahasya

Contains extracts from Diksha sanskar book

 

It will be better if all future writers provide such relevant info

along with contributions.

Dear Arvind,

 

I know, I should have done it before. There are certain

misunderstandings and maybe, I am the one who can explain everything.

Maybe, you remember, I built the brinkster site to WORK AS A FILTER

AND PREVENT THE MAIN SITE FROM GETTING JAM PACKED WITH JUNK. That

feeling still remains.

 

There were some messages regarding scanning material from MTYV, but I

never responded to them as I am aware of copyright and ethical

issues. Moreover, the websites structure doesn't allow images or

scanned material and brinkster doesn't allow files more than 1MB or

more than 200 MB data transfer / month. So, even if I try doing it, I

won't be successful.

Shrivastavji is one of the senior most disciple of Guruji and I

personally know him. He is also known as 'Guru Sewak' and he has

earned this name with years of guru-sewa and sadhana. I consider him

equivalent to Guruji. Had there been any flaw in my idea he wouldn't

have permitted me. He didn't object because he knew Guruji won't

object and Guruji did not otherwise that site would be running now. I

don't know what you or anyone else might think, but if I was able to

build that site, I have Guruji's permission and blessings; if that

site is still running, I have Guruji's permission and blessings. I am

not connected to my Guruji via the Internet, I have my soul connected

to his soul and I, in most cases, don't need worldly methods of

communication.

I am not aware of the source of that article. I published it, because

it emphasized need of a real Guru and Diksha, something most people

don't understand.

This good work is not going on because nobody built a website on this

site. This work is going on because Guruji started it and it WILL NOT

STOP.

I did not do this for credit. I did it because I wanted to help my

newcomer Gurubhais and Gurubahans and remove myths about tantra.

Currently, I am working on a new version of website which would allow

most of us to review the contents.

 

The sadhak website, so far, hasn't done anything good. It is a

complete failure. Instead of awareness, it has spread concern and

misunderstanding. It is also the cause of mailbox clogging. Maybe, I

should shut it down before it causes anymore problems. I had built it

because Guruji came in my dream and asked me to do something for him

on the Internet. Maybe, he meant something else.

 

Sorry for all the trouble and messing the peaceful environment of

this group.

ashish, dear brother,

cheer up.

look GURUji seems to have some biases, and i dare say

i am not sure if all of it is his own idea.

i really have not been able to speak to him properly since the first

day i landed here.

my meetings were very brief, and i never got a chance to talk to him

properly. Today, when i told him i may not be able to see him again as

i go back next week, he asked to see him on the 6th evening. If i do,

then i will surely discuss again. Apparently he does want you to speak

to him. So first relax, clear your head. And then call up. I am sure

if you present the case OK he will listen to you. He remembers your

surname. Hurdles come in every path, you should not admit defeat.

Jai Gurudev Ashishji,

First things first. I am terribly sorry for hurting yr feelings. I

never wanted to hurt yr feelings.

 

Of course, I know that u r completely in favor of avoiding potential

copyright issues. I just wanted to clarify this issue to others. It

was a knee jerk reaction, but I just wanted to bring discussion about

it in the open, and clarify it to others. I do remember that u urself

have warned others against copying audio cassettes or scanning

book/mag contents, in the past.

 

I fully support yr original concept of building a sadhak site to act

as a filter for the main site. i am fullly in favor of that.

 

I myself personally consider Shrivastav uncle as father figure, and

he treats me like a son. He has given me advice for many personal

problems many times when i was unable to meet Gurudev. Even now, i

speak to him regularly. He has got full authority from Gurudev to

advice and give direction to disciples. And His name is synonymous

with Sadhana and Guru-Sewa. His is a very dynamic personality and he

always peeps into distant future while giving advice.

 

I also agree with u that we have Gurudev's blessings and permission

in principal. And that is the reason for us being able to build it up

and sucesfully grow it from mere seed of an idea to a working reality.

 

But Ashish bhai, we live in a world, and we do have to follow the

dictums of society. There is a directive from Gurudham, that for all

projects & shivirs, one sud always inform Gurudham and sud always

take Gurudev's permission in person. May be it is to give personal

blessings, maybe to follow worldly rules, maybe to advice against

future potential problem areas thru clairevoyance, maybe to maintain

a complete info and knowledge base at Gurudham. ours not to question

why. It is a directive, and we have to follow it.

 

Even the high level sadhaks who can contact Gurudev telepathically

are asked specifically by Gurudev and Gurudham to come and meet

Gurudev in person. and all of them follow it. There sud be a reason

for this.

 

I am sorry about my knee jerk reaction about Diksha article today. It

is a well written article and Amanji deserves full commendation for

this. I am no longer talking about taking down this article. I had

clarified about it in my second posting, wherein I had suggested

putting in credits_information about Diksha Sanskar book in the

bottom of this article.

And I do agree with u that this article provides an excellent

introduction about Diksha.

 

However, Ashishji, I do NOT agree with u about ">

It isn't the case at all. This concept and website has brought us

together, has stimulated many of us to start performing Guru Sewa,

has provided us an impetus to start writing articles and spread info

about Guruji, and has given us a wonderful direction. It has

channelised the efforts of so many brother/sister disciples in the

right direction. All this has been possible by the concept of sadhak

website. So many wonderful and constructive things have started

happening!

Of course there have been some misunderstandings and concerns on the

way. But, that is natural while starting any project. We have taken

all concerns constructively, and have always found the right

direction to proceed in. It has been a huge success., and has drawn

efforts of everyone constructively.

 

I really envy u Ashishji. U get so many divine experiences. And

Gurudev knows about u and remembers yr name. How many of us can claim

this distinction. Gurudev personally has asked u to call u. U r so

much lucky. And u have put in real hard work and effort to get this.

Congratulations.

Many of us have met Gurudev only once or twice. And some of us havent

even met Him. And Gurudev knows about u and has asked u to call Him.

This is so great!

It was really exhilarating reading these lines from Anuji's

discussion with Nand Guruji. Many of us have not been even able to

meet Gurudev. And even if we meet Him, it is always only about our

personal problems. And Gurudev wants to speak to u about organisation

issues. This is so fantastic.

 

Please tell us about yr converation with Guruji,

 

I apologise to fellow list-members about sending two blank mails

earlier today.

Another thing. Ashishji, can u please add Amit Shresthaji's name in

the credits for the article "How to solve problems". I had extracted,

nay pirated stuff from his posting. In fact, this was the very first

posting on this list.
