What is other's experience and what are the different stages in doing Tratak. For how much time one should practice. I will be really grateful for any help in this regard. I am also looking for any Gurubhai in the Ghaziabad area (preferably Vasundhara, Vaishali, Kaushambi, Indira Puram etc.). Thanks. Guest guest Report post Posted March 29, 2001 Jai Gurudev Charanjitji, Practical Hypnotism book contains detailed info on Traatak. i guess that the starting point is either on Shakti Chakra or a small point. i started with Shakti Chakra many years ago, but left it after some months due to laziness etc. so, i wont consider myself any authority or genuine practisoner of Traatak. The only thing i can say is that it helped me to concentrate my mind in a more controller manner. and i achieved some partial success in basic tricks like sometimes, i used to be able to mentally force someone else in bus/office to look in my direction. or, i used to get indication that so&so was coming towards our house. so, i can say that it surely works. If i cud get so much just after a few months of regular practice (started with 2-3 minutes, and reached to 20 minutes), one can achieve wonders. There are many Sadhaks on the net who have experienced many divine experiences.. Revered Gurudev has specifically told Sadhaks not to tell publicly about their experiences. This cud be reason why other senior Gurubhais dont reveal their experiences. However, many experiences on Traatak are published in the magazine. In that course I read about Tratak. so i had asked this specific question. If u have any other idea to learn concentration, please let me know. Guest guest Report post Posted April 2, 2001 Jai Gurudev, I guess that "Traatak" is the easiest way to achieve mind concentration. You can start with shakti chakra. don't try fire, sun or stars unless u have a significant experience with "bindu" or "Shakti Chakra". Some Sadhanas on mind concentration are also published in magazine. u may try them. Or try the sammohan or atma- sammohan sadhana. plus u may take some relevant Dikshas.
