Guest guest Report post Posted February 9, 2001 Jay gurudev, It was about a year and a half when i did first sadhna. I was 16 then and i had to give my school leaving certificate exams( slc) so that was a busy year. A disciple of gurudev..guruji as i fondly call him used to come in my house since i was interested in occult from very beginning we used to have longs discussions of tantra, jadibuti( medicinal herbs) etc.. One day while having my second term exam guruji had come and i was discussing astrology.and sadhnas. He offered me to try "Saraswoti Sadhna". i denied saying that i am giving my exams. With a look of surprise in his face he said that chances of failing would lessen. Well..then i agreed. It was the simplest of sadhnas.. no yantras no rosaries..counting from the second phalange of sun finger and saraswoti gutika (a nut) , simple worship and chanting of mantra 21/108 times facing north. It was a 7 days sadhna.and guruji advised me to start from tomorrow( thursday). I did the sadhna for 7 days. and i was planning to go to a nearby river to offer the sadhnaarticles to the river goddess. in the after noon. Exactly in the 7th day in the morning a friend of mine dropped in and congrautlated me for being 2nd in class..i had also scored highest in 2 subjects!! i was shocked.i hadn't done the exam at my very best.. i knew that it was due to the sadhna..i thanked guruji and mateshwori and happily ended the sadhna. Later in every hard exams i tried the sadhna and the results were wonderful . mateshwori never disappointed me. Guest guest Report post Posted February 13, 2001 I have some similar experience to share i was finding mathematics bit difficult so Pujya Gurudev advised me to take Vaagdevi Dikshaa n to my surprise i got a very good grade in the subject in which i was most suspicious. N even i shared the highest marks in all with a classmate of mine among the students in my course in that semester. I have done some other sadhanas n mantra recitations n every time i have experienced something or the other. Following the wise words of Pujya Gurudev i have always tried to do sadhanas that will put me nearer to the knowledge of Brahma.
