Guest guest Report post Posted December 17, 2000 jay gurudev respected brothers and sister's i my self is studing in b/pharmacy in pune. i had a doubt about diksha so if possibe please help me to clear this. * after taking diksha is it necessary to perform the sadhan of the aquired diksha very soon or if done after some thime the power becomes less or goes away? * after attaing diksha and after doing the sadhana is there any changes in the lines of palm? * is there any type of difference in taking diksha through photograph or taking it pratiksh-ie. taking by in presence of gurudev? that is that is it good to take by photograph or thing it pratiksha. wil1 some less power attain if taken by photograph? please helpo me to clear my doubts. thanks. vishal patel jay gurudev. (how r u in marathi language!) following are my opinions on this. comments from other listmembers to support/criticise my opinions are welcome! a. One sud perform the required Sadhana immediately after taking Diksha. During Diksha. the spiritual energy gets transferred, and one can make maximum use of this energy only by performing sadhana strictly as per advice. For example, if u are told to do 11 malas, then u sud do 11 malas in one sitting. if u r asked to do it daily, u sud do it daily. i remember, someone asking this question from Pujaniya Bade SadGurudevji Himself, and the answer was that- chanting mala daily is as much a requirement as eating food and sleeping and performing all usual everyday tasks. plus, the FAQ on the website siddhashram.org mentions that u sud perform sadhana at the same time daily etc., etc. (incidently, i noticed that lots of new things have been put on the faq section recently. ). so, i will say that one sud do sadhana immediately after Diksha. However, if u have missed out some days, even then u sud start it asap and perform as per guidelines. u sud not delay it. But even if u have delayed it, u sud still do it. Better late than never. in my hand, the palm lines changed after taking diksha. so, yes, there is definitely a change in lines. my fate line started developing only after Diksha. i think that it is obvious, since the lines on hand indicate destiny, and Diksha changes destiny. i dont think that there is any difference between taking Diksha pratyaksh (personally) or on a photo. methink it sud give same effect. because, grant of Diksha is basically a transfer of spiritual power. and I dont think that physical medium is always required. Gurudev has saved me and others from sure death in accidents, chanting of just Guru Mantra results in resolution of problems and troubles, uttering a small prayer to Gurudev before starting some venture results in success therein. i think that power of Gurudev is very high and great and is not limited to a physical contact. i have seen people getting results thru Diksha on photo. i think that faith, trust, devotion, perseverance and hard work are more important. Whenever i recite Guru Mantra my Bhagya Rekha become much better in a very short time (just withing some 3-4 days). It has a straight effect on Bhagyaa Rekhaa. Also i was trying some other mantraas concerning nine planets and i noticed that my sun line changed drastically in short period of time. I have tried reciting some other mantraas too and i have seen that concerned lines changed. In the magazine it has been said that there is no diffrence in taking Dikshaa personally or through Photo. Vishal has rightly said that Diksha is transfer of energy and it can be done even if disciple and Guru are far apart. What is imp in taking dikshaa is that one should be fully devoted towards pujya Gurudev. More devoted one is more the energy goes within us and more will it manifest at a deeper level. Jai Gurudev!
