Guest guest
Namaste Sri Ramesh: The points that you have raised are quite important and the moderators are aware that a good understanding of Buddhism can certainly enhance our understanding of Sankara's advaita philosophy. As a matter of fact, the list archives contain extensive discussions on Buddhism and related philosophies. As you have rightly pointed out, the moderators always encourage members to share their insights on all philosophies closely associated with Advaita philosophy such as Buddhism. As one of the moderators of the list, I fully endorse your friendly advice to him. In your last paragraph, you have a good suggestion for enhancing the services of the list. I welcome you and other volunteers who want to pursue this important venture to provide another parallel forum with more flexible format to entertain interested members with "advaitin offtopic." I will be more than happy to work with members like you who want to serve the community by providing additional services. The list has requested for volunteers to move the list archive to own website (without interference and their advertisements with a powerful search engine). This is a noble task and I am sure that list has many talented young computer professionals. I also want to request the talented members to spare sometime and do this "Karma Yoga" of spreading the "Jnana" with dedication (Bhakti). From my side, I am willing to provide funds for the advaitin website with upto 10 Gigabites webspace enought bandwith to start with. Please come forward to show your volunteer (Karma Yagya) spirit.
