Guest guest
Namaste to all Advaitins, This world is such a paradox that it would be a shame if the way out of it were to be easy. That is why we make it difficult for ourselves. But we all know that the way out is the easiest thing in this universe – absolutely no thing has to be done for us to reach there. Because it is Here. To account for the paradox that what is there is here and what is here is there, there are people who say that this world is an illusion, but such a locution is only a clever stratagem to ensure that the secret of Advaita does not go out to those that may get to receive what they cannot hold. Only those that are pregnant with Oneness are large enough to hold the Truth because Advaita is all about giving birth to a Sun. Advaita is an esoteric science and it is well guarded from especially those that have access to all that is to be read about it. The statement that this world is an illusion is also an illusion and hence it is an illusion to say that this world is an illusion. That makes the world logically real. Mr. Ludwig Wittgenstein said that employing language to get at the metaphysical is non-sense and he wrote many large tomes on metaphysics wherein he declared that he was talking non-sense. He in fact struggled hard with non-sense to get to sense and he said that after we use the ladder of non-sense to climb to sense, the ladder should be thrown away. In Advaita we say that this is somewhat incorrect because this world is such a paradox that no ordinary ladder will do for getting Here. Advaita therefore uses a magical ladder. The ladder that Advaita uses to climb to the truth is a ladder that keeps getting shorter and shorter as you climb higher and higher until there is left no ladder to throw away because by the time you get to the top the two ends of the ladder have met. It is the end of the journey and the end of the ladder and the end of the traveller all in one. It is, like we already have said, a great magic ladder. The nature of this magic ladder can easily be seen if one keeps an eye on the paradox. The paradox becomes lesser and lesser of a paradox as more and more of the eye is kept on it and when the full eye is attended upon it, it isn't there at all. All Great Masters therefore say: 'Be Aware'. The world is then always met with the Ground called Real and it therefore is real in its Meeting Ground where the ladder has dissolved. The ladder is, like we already have said, a magic ladder. Warm regards, Chittaranjan
