Guest guest
Dear friend, The following are my comprehensions. if you have any difference of opinion please let me know that. We are encircled by Maya. The problems, sufferings or happiness etc.. are not existent for a person. A problem for you may not be a problem for others. For a first standard student the LKG and UKG lessons are very easy. For a 10th standard student 12th syllabus may be difficult. For a 12th standard student 10th syllabus will be easy. So easy and difficult are in the way how you see things. For a poor, he longs for money and rich ambience. At the same time, the rich longs for a simple life. The grass is always on the other side. This world is full of dualities. If a person understands this, ie understands the prabhramam(nondual one), he will not suffer or enjoy anything. Though it may seem for others that he is enjoying, laughing for jokes, suffering on pains and problems, they are illusory. Also understand, these are body related. Not the soul related. if you understand and practise this difference, believe me you will lead a balanced life whatever the situation may be. if you say, Bharathiyar suffered, yes, he suffered. If you say not, yes, he has not suffered. You may ask, everyone knows that he suffered. it is real. If this world is maya, unpermanent then how can the sufferings or enjoyings be real? For the question 2, I'm sorry, I'm don't have knowledge about that. Chokks. Guest guest
Why did Bharathiyar and many other noble souls and upasakas had to live a life of penury? I am an ordinary devotee but I feel like responding to this issue though I do not have any authority to talk on such a subject. Consequently what I say may not be extremely coherent or even relevant. Those of us who have lived long enough on this earth know that what we think as justice is often not what we see around us. We go about life working, earning money, spending it, taking care of our families, doing what we believe is our duty, seeking pleasure and entertainment, enjoying the worldly recognition, like fame, money, power of position etc. There is no rational answer as to why somebody worthy should suffer and another not-so-worthy person enjoy all the good things. Meerabai sang over 500 years ago "Moorakh ko tum raj diyat ho, pandit phirat bhikari"". So it seems like there was no balance even then. The glorious life that one has in this world does not seem to have so much to do with an individual's merit or accomplishments or even devotion. So what would it be? When we seek light, and look inward it seems to me that we are led by the divine spirit in whatever path we may tread. We read and hear the wise say that all our thoughts are triggered in us due to Her. If such a belief comes to one firmly, then our actions are constantly guided by her and She prepares you one way or the other to take what comes. Ideas such as Karma of the previus births etc., cannot be scientifically verified. It is a matter of faith. If adding to our bank account seems an attractive proposal, I guess one has to receive Her grace to get the abiding belief that we must add to our account of good deeds. Doing good deeds in itself should be a reward. This applies to people like me who have led ordinary lives, but had always believed more of everything should have come by my way! But with time, the glimmer of something, that suggests "look for rewards of different kind" is emerging. This is a very personal experience that I value utmost. The more I experience this, the more convincing and correct the way of devotion seems.Life seems to be consistent, the contradictions reducing, if not vanish completely. Regards to all.
