Guest guest
shri ravi pranam thanks you have said it rightly actually they are not the names they are the attributes & one has to pay attention to it regarding trishati the namnes there are arranged as per ' pnchdashi mantra ' regards opseth "Ravisankar S. This becomes more critical for works such as lalitaa trishatii, where hayagriiva clearly says they are not merely naama-s but mantra-s, pay attention and do it at the right pace (not in hurry). FYI. Guest guest
Dear Shri Ravisankarji, An excellent piece of experience to be implimented both by the beginner and experienced. Human Mind can do GAY WALKING. I have observed majority to spend hours chanting mantras correctly, yet the mind is wandering elsewhere. The method already implimented by you and which you are sharing with the Group is excellent to improve concentration and meditation. Thanks for sharing your experience with all. Incidentally let me confess that only recently i was thinking on the same mathod as i do not know the meanig of the namavali I chant. Thanks to you because I will sit down and translate the namavali. Even a few names chanted knowing the meaning / attributes of GOD / GODESS will go a long way to improve your performance. HARI OM, YOURS TRULY, G.Tulasi Das "Ravisankar S. Guest guest
My tuppence. My method is to have studied the Lalitopakhyana and then when each name is recited to remember the incident in Lalitopakhyana that gave Lalita that name. For example:- SrI mAtA = the fact that when Devas sacrificed themselves into the chidagni, a great power (Lalita) was born and her first action was to recreate the Devas. Thus she became the "srImAtA of all the devas. srImahArAjnI = One of the first actions of the Devas on recreation was to install Lalita as their Queen Empress. srImat simhAsaneswarI = when made the Empress she was installed on the Throne. Then comes her birth story born out of the Chidagnikunda et..... I leave out philosophy as i am no philisopher. I just relive her story and leelas that is all I do.
