Guest guest Posted March 13, 2001 Report Share Posted March 13, 2001 I was listening to vishhNu sahasranAma yesterday while driving home, even though I have listened to that many times, some insights come suddenly. In the end, ambaa pArvatI devi asks Lord, how people can chant and get the effects of sahasranAma easily. SHE knows that HER children are so lazy that 1000 names is too much for them. That is HER compassion. SHE wants to find a way by which even fools like me can benefit. Lord's compassion excels even that. HE replies them that by chanting rAma one gets the whole benefit. HE is so kind not to pick a tongue twisting complex name, but a very very simple, possibly the simplest of all the names "rAma". Who can excel them in their compassion!!
