Guest guest Posted January 25, 2000 Report Share Posted January 25, 2000 Valid criticism isn't the same thing as "abuse."<br><br>Un-authorized teaching of an ancient yoga method can arguably be considered abuse of that yoga method and the teachers that gave us this method.<br><br>And even the Buddha was known to exercise discriminative judgment on other teachers. My main point is that criticism is a lot healthier and more effective when it is constructive and respectful. What I get from that parable is when you are disrespectful to others you are disrespectful to yourself. <br>It's great sharing opinions and I'm enjoying this dialog for that.
