everybody waits. when you arrive the guru assigns

you a time-usually the latest shift at that

time---around 8:00---10:00m depending on how busy things are.

As students leave, you come at progressively earlier

times. Most long-time students practice at 4:30 or 5:30.

Returning students can usually get into an earlier shift

when people leave the earlier shifts. Most of the yoga

tourists only stay a month and end up practicing at the

later times and waiting for an hour or so. somtimes

people cheat and come earlier than they should. this has

been know to cause fights to break out--not very

yogic.

Anyway, you have nothing else to do in

Mysore besides grab a Papaya or eat breakfast at

Nagaratna's. Learing to slow down and being able to wait and

developing patience are all important lessons which it seems

you need to learn based on your asking the question.

another lesson: see the world as a place of abundance,

not scarcity and you shall receive everything you

desire. See it as a place of scarcity and you will always

be wanting. The guru, in his ultimate generosity,

always makes space for new students.

Also don't

bitch about the 500 bucks Guruji charges for your fist

month. It is a great privilege to practice with the

greatest teacher in the world and the sum is a mere

pittance in the grand scheme. He is trying to live well,

provide for his family and build a few temples in his

hometown.

To answer your question in brief, yes, yes.
