Guest guest
"Sometimes things exist that we are meant to deal with, and when we do not, the result is chaos. We then cannot be crying "Why, God?" when we ourselves are not working. God gave children parents to protect them. When the parents fall down on their responsibility, the children, and by extension, future generations, all suffer. This is the nature of Kali Yuga, when God has been so forgotten that He/She will not be found even in the houses of the Brahmins (the priesthood)" Precisely Lilith this is what I have been saying all along. We don't just sit, watch and scream : this is not right! This is not right!. Do something about it. Get out there and do it. Don't just talk and make all the noise. Like the sayings goes : empty vessels make the most noise. So it still goes back to us. I personally believe, if somebody did something bad, before you start to condemn then, look at yourself first, and ask How good are you? We have a saying which goes : The Pot calling the Kettle black. I wrote : I see Madonna is just another Devi's Tool, meant to Shock us into reality perhaps. To crack us up . I don't know, but that is what I see & think. Lilith "or maybe to sink us in even deeper. You got to consider THAT possibility too!" Oh! Yes Lilith I have many times. Why we sink, because we are weak and not strong. We get swayed easily. If you want to swim against the tide, please make sure you are strong enough, otherwise you too will get swept away with the currents or drown. I believe sometime we need a "shock therapy" for us to see the reality. All these idea that all are good and perfect is an illusion. Ah! Brings me back to Kaalratri. [ I love this navdurga] "Now this is one tough LADY. I mean look at HER and look at all the other navdurga. SHE sticks out like a soar thumb. Why is she so angry or mad about? You know it's like watching a movie. In the beginning we were being shown such beautiful pictures and we began to create this wonderful thoughts, then suddenly without warning we were being thrust with image of death and destruction. It simply just throw ones mind in disarray. I think more of like a shock treatment and thereafter one began to question WHY? IS that what Kalarathri is all about? To shake us up? To put our mind in confusion? As her name suggest "night of time". All life is unfolded by time. One does not know what time will bring forth. If we look at the whole reality of it, just when we thought that our life is so good. So comfortable and peaceful, suddenly all these are being taken away from us. Death, earthquake, flood etc. SHE really hit us hard. SHE has shown us the reality of life, for nothing is permanent in this world. Permanency is an illusion. I have the opportunity to chat with one of our senior group member who is an experience sadhak and this is what he has to say: "this throwing mind into disarray or shocking you to reality is what will take the mind higher" "That must be Ganesha, whose vehicle is a RAT!" Well I don't think so Lilith is all about Ganesha. But again Ganesha too can be both : an obstacle himself and the remover of obstacle. So like Colin says : It can either heal or devastate, depending upon the attitude we take. But if you refer to the Pied Pier story, the rats are a nuisance. They practically take over the whole town and the people can't do anything about it. Isnt this what is happening in our society. We know something is happening, but we cant figure it out or do anything about it. These rats are cunning. You can't catch them on your own. What did the Pied Pier did, uses his power of his flute, he extract them one by one until there is none. That is what I think I am trying to point out, I see Madonna and her like as a tool, send by Devi to allow us to really see the real issue that is taking place in our society. Maybe you like to tell us Lilith how the rat became Ganesha's vehicle?
