Guest guest
I received via the email and I believe it should go to the group message board. "Jaidevimaa, Hi! ……… I am a college student in NYC. I have always been a child to devi maa, but recently she has been part of my life more so than the usual . I listen to all devi bhajans and just love it. I feel as she is my everything. I had a question and I didn't know who should I ask this; luckily I have stumbled upon this site and hopefully my question will be answered.... My question is- I have always felt that there is something god has hidden in a female's ankles. I have always wondered what is it that is so magnetic about a woman's ankle. My own conclusion thus far has been that-maa had hidden something there; I don't know what it is, but it is some sort of shakti. In our religious books and all painting, in a female godess, a murti, a painting- the ankel is always shown with a payal. It is no secret that women know that it adds to their femininehood. I am just so heartly curious -if there is any mention of this point in any of our religious books on devi mata. Sincerely,
Guest guest
OM SRI GURUVEE NAMAHA OM SRI MATHREE NAMAHA Dear Brother, As you said the anglet adds to the femine beauty, but there are other things which is hidden in the anglet of devi. It produces the pranava when she walks. More over the beauty of the DIVINE QUEEN is mentioned in the SAUNDARYA LAHARI which meanS THE WAVES OF BEAUTY. Then in LALITHA SAHASRANAMA also there are namas which expalins the beauty of the angle as well as the anglet or payal. yours lovingly brother Krisshnan --- "N. Guest guest
Aum Hreem Aum Hi SS group, I very seldom post here, but I enjoy lurking/learning here.. thank you all. Suffering some guilt that i missed Pauline Rainbow's journey to Miami (just read it today). I hope she is well. On the women's ankles subject, in the Orthodox Jewish or Kabalistic tradition there are strong energy centers that line women's legs once the cycle of menses begin (there are other energy spots too, on both m/f bodies). This is why adult Orthodox Jewish women wear long skirts. Also, some people who work in energy work or accupuncture have taught me that there are meridians in the inner leg that correlate to the energy of the uterus. One healer I know of was working on a woman who was with the threat of misscarriage treated her with accupressure on spots in the inner thigh and calf. Maybe someone wih more expertise can shed more light on this? amarthya Jai Ma In a message dated 11/30/03 9:46:16 AM Eastern Standard Time, writes: << Message: 1 Sat, 29 Nov 2003 15:34:38 -0000 "N. Guest guest
Dear devi bhagat, I appreciate your insight in trying to explain the ankle question. However my gut instincts are telling me that there has got to be more to it. I am just waiting to read all the replies on this subject so we can come to the right answer, as I am sure there are many people who are perplexed by this. Guest guest
Pranam. Thank you all for replying to me. The reason why I was asking particularly for these two yantras is bcause I had a dream. In my dream, I am with someone. I am eating a piece of meat and my companion says "Don't just eat the Vijaya yantra, try the Sri Vijaya yantra as well" and offers me another piece of meat. Can anyone interpret this, please? With Love Shankaree Let my every word be a prayer to Thee, Every movement of my hands a ritual gesture to Thee, Every step I take a circumambulation of Thy image, Every morsel I eat a rite of sacrifice to Thee, Every time I lay down a prostration at Thy feet; Every act of personal pleasure and all else that I do, Let it all be a form of worshiping Thee." >From Verse 27 of Shri Aadi Shankara's Saundaryalahari BT Broadband - Save £80 when you order online today.
