Isn't Shannon pronounced the way it is written?

I thought so too but some people say it as Sha' naan.

Could you also help me with the hindi spelling of it also.

I have got a few books but none are able to help me with the word Shannon. I need this word translated into Hindi and need to know how to pronounce it (i think i got that latter bit.)

I could give a rough go from your alphabet but Im afraid il get it wrong.
