Dear Ms.Rama, Lalitha Sahasranama, Trishati in particular are highly concentric forms to worship Devi. The only care we have to take is the utterance of each beej or for that matter the entire sloka. For Tamilians there is a uccharana dosha. This is my humble opinion. Apart from that there should not be any other taboo. Actually speaking the anti women thoughts by anyone is caused out of insecurity or lack of enough knowledge. Shakti Sadhana is best performed by women. Swamy Shantananda (Swamy Shivananda's disciple) had initiated thousands of women into trishati and shodasi. He had even given the privilege for women to perform the homam. Devi is antaryami.
