Hello All, I recently went to Tirupathi on a pilgrimage and noticed Moon and Snake symbols engraved atop the Mandapam exactly above Dwajastambam. Can someone enlighten me the significance of these symbols? Also, I have noticed exactly the same engravings in a temple in Thanjaur district. Thanks in advance.
