Hare Krishna. Whoever says that the ritvik directive and anyone who follows that does not understand or acknowledge guru ? This is the result of institutional bad-mouthing. Ritvik devotees recognise the guru on different levels and understand that the levels should correspond to what one is or one is not as per spiritual advancement and more importantly the instructions of one's own guru, i.e. the founder-acharya. It's not that no one can be guru. Be guru but how - according to how the Acharya has ordered. He may have stated many of his intentions and desires but his orders are the ones that have to be executed. Just because someone has made a statement you do not agree with does not mean that you take the ritvik word, misrepresent it according to your poor digestion of it and then take a slam. Immaturity and a lack of composure and consideration in understanding a position should not extend to answering every other issue.
