Dear Dr. Shirish Bhate, I am looking for some very good medicine against Vertigo. I myself stydied four years ayurveda in Belgium and I have a small practise in ayurvedic massage. So I do nasya, I massage myself with mahanarayan taila or nalpamaradi keram oil, I do shirodhara with Brahmi taila, feetd and head massage. I have trifhala and ashwaganda and I am on a vata pitta diëet. My prakruti is pitta - vata. I had an attack of Vertigo about six weeks ago for about two days afterwards I felt very light in the head and also pressure in the head, as if the brains wanted to upleft the brain-pan and also a lot of energy on the top of the head moving from front to the backside of the head, almost unbearable. I was and I still am very thirsty as never before especially at night, also the head feels very warm althoug the bloodpresure stays stable. I also experienced two times early in the morning somthing very auwful, like a demon tryied to enter my body, I felt extremly agressive and had no control over it, my whole fase was changing of shape and my eyes were like fireballs, also I felt in my right arm and leg, as if somebody was trying to take it over ( they made a scan of the head and everything is alright, no thumors or bleeding).I also practisch mantra meditation, the last two months I meditated much longer than I was used to before, because my meditations where so blessfull. Is it possible that the Kundaline is damaged due to this and maybe to much relieve of stress. Before the first attack About four weeks later I had again an attack of vertigo ( they call it possitioning vertigo) and eversince I still have the symptomes, also Tinnitus. So I think this is more like a Pitta Vertigo ( pachak pitta - prana vata). So I am looking for a very good ayurvedic medicine based on Bhasma's because their are very strong medicines, but you cannot find them here in Europe. In the vatic Vertigo you talk about the Smruti sagar ras, is this also oké for a pitta vertigo or will this enhance pitta to much? The same with Ginkgo Biloba? Yours Sincerely, Jean-Pierre.
