A tilak of a paste of kesar [saffron] is kesar tilak. Tilak is applied between

the eye brows.

In case you find kesar [saffron] a bit too expensive, then you can apply the

tilak of haldi paste in place of kesar paste.

Dear AP,

You can buy Kesar [ saffron] from the market. But applying kesar tilak will be

very expensive. Instead you can apply tilak of haldi paste. This will be as

effective as the kesar tilak.
