about panchang Pradeep

Dear Pradeep,

 

In good old days when I used to cast a horoscope manually I had used

the 'Vishwa Vijay Panchang' which is erected for the co=ordinates of

Delhi. It is published from Solan [ HP ]. By far this is the most

authentic Panchang I have ever come across. It uses the Chitra-

paksheeya Ketki Ayanansha [ which is popularly known as Lahiri

Ayanansh ]

 

Now I use Jagannath Hora, the best horoscope software ever made. It

is for free download from the net.

Dear Pradeep,

 

[ 1 ] You can not expect the software to have every town in its data

bank. Therefore fill in the long & Lat along with the time zone

manually.

 

[ 2 ] Go to the preferences, and check the ayanansha. Set it to

Lahiri ayanansh.

 

[ 3 ] After a few days and practice you will get a hang of it.

 

[ 4 ] I think you should down load 'junior jyotish' from the

jyotishtools. This is a very simple software. Try this also.
