Once an astrologer is equipped with this basic information, he should attempt to predict after appalling other dictum's.

New comers should write the above results for each planet separately and then start applying your intellect on predictions.

In the final prediction following twin principles should always be remembered :

Step 0ne- CONSIDERATION of house ,house lord and house Karka-both in birth and varga charts

Step two- Consideration of various yogas , operating dasa and Transits

Dear Kaksmiji, You deserve our thanks for posting such highly informative and very detailed information about Nakshatras in a regular basis. I have lingering doubt as to why we concentrate only on discussing on the nakshatra in which earth's satellite moon is placed. why so much of importance on moon alone. Why is the nakshtra in which other planets are placed do not influence the life of the native.Why no importance if Sun is in Mrigsira or Mercury is in Aswani etc.After all earth is a part of Sun and Sun being a father figure , why its location in different in nakshtra is not having any influence in prediction etc.Moon

Mrigashirsha is ruled by Soma, the God of the Moon or the immortal nectar. This is the fifth nakshatra of the zodiac, spanning from 23°-20' in Vrishabha to 6°-40' in Mithuna. The word 'Mriga' represents forests, gardens, a search, a seeking to find, to roam about in forests and a hunter, to seek to blaze the trail, a guide and preceptor. Mrigashirsha is partly in Vrishabha and partly in Mithuna.
