Why is Saturn Bad in 3rd House of Dasamsa ?

Dear Jyotishas,

In Crux of Vedic Astrology, Sanjay Ji writes on Page 492 - Chapter on

TENTH HOUSE :

" Although Saturn is a Yogakarak in Dasamsa (Taurus Dasamsa Asc), its

placement in third house is most undesirable. Even Sai Baba of Shirdi

who had Saturn in third from dasamsa lagna had to beg for his food

during Saturn Dasa. "

Could this kindly be explained why is Saturn is giving such bad

results in third house where malefics are welcomed, giving initiative

and motivation to put efforts ????

Dear Rajat-ji,

Namaskar. 3rd house in Dasamsa chart has some special connotations than Rasi Chart. 3rd house in Dasamsa shows frequent breaks in job/career. Moreover, 3rd house is maraka to 2nd house (being 2nd from 2H) and hence Shani here depletes resources (2H). It also gives malefic argala and aspect to the 5th house (reputation damaged). Hence in Dasamsa, Shani is not welcome to the 3rd and 8th houses.

Dear saurav ji

There must be some overriding principles to it. I had excellent shani bhukti. I

have vrishaka lagna (D10) and mars/saturn are in 3rd house.

can you please suggest the reasons for that? and if the shani antar was good -

how will be the shani mahadasha? In rashi chart (D1), i have shani in 11th from

AL and part of VRY. Did this work as overriding rule over 3rd house placement in

D10.

I observed that shani in 3/6/11 from moon, giving good results in its

dasha/antar.

Dear SanjayP-ji,

Namaskar. I do not have COVA with me right now, but will check when at home. In my understanding, please check the drishtis of Shani posited it 8th. It falls on 10th, 2nd and 5th all of which are vital houses. 8th is the house of transformation and malefics here will show transformation in the negative direction or unwanted transformations i field of career.

However, how will 3rd house saturn in dasamsa give breaks in

profession.Being 3rd from Lagna and 6th from 10th house, it should

give strength to fight all odds ?
