Respected Girish ji,

The upaya as suggested by the book is :

" aurat ke zism ke dahine hisse par chandi ka chhalla mubariq hoga "

[ 1952 urdu ed page 869 line # 16 ]

" danye hissa zism aurat par chandi {chhalla vagairah qayam karen }

[ 1942 urdu ed page 320 line # 7]

The book has been consistent in suggesting that silver should be

established on the right side of her body.

The reason why the right side has been suggested could be [ my

assumption]:

The Lal Kitab says :

1952 urdu ed page 160 note # 5

" mard ka danya hath mard ke khud apne liye grah phal ka / mard ka

banya hath mard ke khud apne liye rashi phal ka "

1952 urdu ed page 160 note # 6

" aurat ka banya hatha aurat ke apne liye grah phal ka / aurat ka

danya hath aurat ke apne liye rashi phal ka "

There is a similar interpretation in the 1939 Urdu ed page 9 farman

# 14 and #15.

Extending the same logic which has been defined for the hands, it

will be advisable to establish a silver chhalla on the right hand of

the wife because that side of her body is of Rashi phal. Because

the left side of a woman's body is of Grah phal therefore not

remediable, in other words establishing the silver on her left hand

will not be fruitful because that side is of Grah Phal.

Therefore when ever a chhalla etc is advised to be worn, it is

invariably on the right hand of the ladies and the left hand of the

males because these sides are respectively of rashi phal for them.

Would love to hear from other experts also.

Regards,

Varun Trivedi
