I can understand the reference to Lagnesh but why Surya? Pray

elaborate if you would. More specifically, why not the moon also? For

without MOON, <and> sun and earth, rahu and ketu cease to exist!

Please define what you understand by Guru-chandal yoga and what is

your source of information?

Labels have been confusing and had been deliberately used by some

writers to confuse others! Hence, I want to make sure that we are on

the same page before spending time to answer your query with examples

etc! By the way, if I were you, rather than ask a bunch of strangers,

I would acquire a reasonably good quality astrological database

(several are still available and gone is the exclusivity claimed by

certain jyotishis in the recent past who bragged about their personal

collection of thousands of horoscopes etc! Talk about spiritual

detachment, etc.!!).

Guru chandala cause intelligence to flatter. Surya and Guru are both

related to intelligence, so if Surya doesnt support the Lagna then its

more problematic. Moon is karaka bhava for forth.

Dear Rafal,

Was that a typo and you meant to write 'falter' and not flatter?

Surya is illumination of the soul and Jupiter wisdom. Nothing to do

with intelligence which is readily available without being put to

right and rightful use (=wisdom) and not resulting in enriching the

soul (=illumination)!

Mercury is about intelligence as I am sure you must have

noticed/recognized/realized in the real charts that you may have

studied during your jyotish *journey*?

Then you bring in moon with yet another obvious typo and perhaps that

was a Freudian slip!
