any one of you can tell me about influence of

Jupiter and ketu in 12th house for tula lagna where

Hi,rajeshkumaria and friends

for the Tula lagna chart Mars is in 2nd house, Moon in

5th, Venus and Rahu in 6th, Sun and Saturn in 7th

Mercury in 8th (Vargotham) Jupiter and ketu in 12th.

What will be the prospects of of Rahu sub period in

Mercurie's Dasa (Prsent DASA - Mercury sub lord dasa

Rahu). The person had done his M.Tech and working as

Scietist in ISRO. Is he going to continue in Govt. job

or going to swith over to Private.

 

What will be the effect of Jupiter and Ketu in 12th

Hi, well there is no need to be surprized, since I was only quoting

standard behaviour as mentioned in varioous articles and books.

Infact these things become obvious only when you/some one close to

you passes through various antardashas/mahadashas of Rahu and Ketu. I

have observed this madness in various people for yers when they were

passing through their Rahu mahadasas and the side effects on others

due to their unpredicatble behaviour, especially Rahu-Moon cojunction

can cause severe madness/unpredictable behaviour unless and until a

natural benefic/functional benefic aspects this combination.

 

Also Jupiter's aspects on various planets except Rahu are considered

generally auspicios as Jupiter activates the signs aspectsed by it as

well as the planets aspected by it. However in case Jupiter activates

malefic planets then it can cause controversial results which can be

harmful also. In any case I have sen that Jupiter/Ketu aand

Jupiter /Rahu are not decent periods financially speaking and I have

seen people suffering during these periods. However please do not

take it personally as you may have other beneficial combinations

which can counter all bad effects. In any case Ketu and Rahu acquire

the chracteristics of the conjuncting planets and So Jupiter_Ketu

might be a better combination but Jupiter_rahu is definitely chandala

yoga and various books can confirm it. In any case my comments are

very general, although I have seen the general behaviour to hold true

in various cases known to me. Hope I am clear now. Regards Rajesh

Well I don’t agree with ju-ke combo being called as guru chandala yoga.. ju-ra

is certainly gu-chandala yoga. In kn rao ‘s book yogis , destiny & wheels of

time, this ju-ra was most criticized yoga…this may b good for materialism but

not for spiritual persuits.

As far as ju-ke r concerned, this is def . good for spiritual persuits..but

check the functional nature of ju also. As I believe that ke makes u crave for

something….so its presence in 12 house makes u seek moksha ..provided aspected

or conjunct with a benefic planet.

I agree with prashant narang comments and as U aware

that 12th house is house of moksha and lord of Moksha

(Ketu) is sitting with Jupiter (Adviser/master for

gods) and aspected by exalted venus will make the

Hi, Well as far as I know, it simply means residence/travels/income

sources in a foreign land during Jupiter Dasa /Antardasa but 12th

Lord should also be strong and should be linked to 12th house in

strong aspect/conjunction for continued long term foreign

residence..otherwise it will mean the native roams throughs forests

and foreign lands in a struggling manner..So the position of Saturn

can make a difference here(also jupiter in 12th means as per

Parasara, that the native goes to heavens after death)...Rajesh

It has Jup-Ke in 12th Aries Sign, 12th Lord in 8th Saggitarius with Mars-Mercury.

By this means it has 12-8 exchange yoga 8th lord aspecting its own house and to 12th lord.

gemini).Note that saturn is retrograted and getting 5th aspect from jupiter in

Dear members,

Please see some examples below for various Ketu periods as per

Parasara:

 

Jupiter/Ketu: If Ketu is conjoined with the benefic planets, it will

result in moderate comforts and gain of wealth; subsist on donated,

charitable food and also procures food through unscrupulous means.

Saturn/Ketu: Placement of Ketu at 8th/12th house from Ascendant or

Mahadas Lord will cause fear of untimely death, injuries and

detachment from wife and children.

Ketu/Ketu: If Ketu is in Its sign of debilitation or with a combust

planet in 8th/12th house, it will cause heart ailment, defamation,

loss of wealth and distress etc.,

 

KETU/VENUS: Native regains lost kingdom if Ketu is placed in

angle/trine or 11th house or conjoined with 10th lord, but if Ketu

and venus are placed in 6th/8th/12th from each other, then theri is

loss of wealth and other problems.

 

Conclusion: Im most cases Ketu's period causes financial and distress

type problems unless and until Ketu is linked to strong benefic

influence or Ascendant Lord and placed in an angle/trine. So Moksha

has its own cost and is not so glamorous as may appear in various

emails..one has to loose all materialistic achevements in order to

reach that moksha state...there is no automatic guarantee that a

benfic influence on Ketu posited in 12th house will get the actual

moksha. So is Jupiter-Ketu combination a Guru-chandala yoga..yes as

per Star Teller magazine. .. even if you do not agree, one can see

that such a period brings problems similar to jupiter-rahu unless and

until the natal ketuis linked to very string planets or ascendent

lord. I have seen few people losing tons of money in business in

Jupiter/Ketu although (one case)Ketu and Venus were in conjunction in

11th house and Venus was the Lagana Lord. The period is suitable for

jobs only on a comparitive basis. So if one can see the affects then

Jupiter/ketu period can also be consdiered similar to Guru-Chandala

period (on the general assumption that Ketu is not well placed

 

 

personal expereience during Jupiter/Ketu: Well I got a very good job

at that time that lasted for a long time. But please note that my

natal Ketu is posited in the Lagna in Aquarius and Lagna Lord Saturn

In my personal case Jupiter/Ketu was an even more tough period than

the rise and fall of Jupiter/Rahu...Infact I had a much better and

good time during Jupiter/rahu when comapred to jupiter/ketu. so you

see which one is the real Guru-Chandala yoga depends upon the

horoscope and preceptions. Also there are several other factors

Hi Chintan, Well here are my humble comments(which is bold attempt on

my part..is this correct?)

 

Jupiter-Ketu in aries in 12th house and Mars-Mecury in sagittarius in

8th house. 8th lord in12th and 12th Lord in 8th means Vipreet

Rajyoga, which basically means success after tremendous struglle

during the periods of Mars or Jupiter. Jupiter as 8th and 11th Lord

is double malefic and placed in 12th house, which is a dusthsthana.

Jupiter becomes violent aries. Jupiter is in Sagittarius in 9th house

in Navamsa indicating religious inclinations especially since Ketu

mahadasa is approaching in 2004. Ketu in 2nd house in Navamsa is not

good for wealth and in12th house in rashi also indicates religious

inclinations, aand struglle in financial affairs( I am not a

supporter of Moksha which comes at the cost of physical survival..i

believe that materialism is very necessary until one reaches 60 years

of age and then the soul/person can decide his her path)..

 

I am not sure whether this is a male or female chart, but in both

cases its tough for marital relations. If its a female chart, then

Jupiter the karaka for husband is placed in 12th house and shows

detachement from husband or rather say religious inclinations while

in marriage(marriage is ofcourse determine separately by Upapada,

darpada etc)..If male horoscope, then Venus the karaka for wife is

also Atamkaraka and that also indicates religious inclinations and

not very string romantic inclinations etc., However Jupiter's aspect

on 4th house gives education and Mercury, the lod of 5th house in 8th

is good for intelligence since Mercury is an exception for 8th house

rules. Is the chart of a student? IN any case this person will rise

in career only after struggles in Mercury Dasa. That's all I can

This is a male chart...Its me. U are absolutely right....success after

tremendous struggle. I have a few questions at this time...I am running under

Mercury-Saturn-Venus Dasha.

Infact Venus Pratyantar started 30th November and on dec 2nd I have lost my

job...I will be out of my project by this month end. I am in USA now to work

and earn. How do u see the future happenings...as Venus is my functional

malefic...and I am runnings its pratyantar. How long will it remain..I mean

when will I get a new job ? ? OR do I need to go back...?? OR I will find a

good job by may 2003...start of sun Pratyantar ? ? ? How about jan-feb 2003

period...Mart transiting over my 7th house and aspecting 10th job house...will

it be fruitful ? ? Please answer..

Dear Chintan(another bold attempt on my part.. I have

attached your charts below so that other list members

can make corrections etc., all this is absed upon

Parasara, kT Shubkaran and ANNUAL TITHI Ashtottari

Dasa articles of this group by PVR RAO.. we have to

combine various dasas and eveything to reach some

conclusions i.e, that's all that i have understood so

far in vedic astrology).

 

Here's what i found:

1. Mercury/Saturn: Failures, frustrations and loss of

proper thinking especialy since Mercury and saturn are

placed in 6th/8th position from each other(Btw I am

also going through same combination). He can overcome

the period by worshipping Lord Shiva and Goddess

Parvathi.

 

2. Mercury/Saturn/Venus: an excllent period

financially. chances of foreign travel arise.

Mercury/saturn/sun: problems of all types until you

reach Mercury/Saturn/Jupiter on 14th april 2004.

 

3. chintan 2003 tithi ashottari dasa: Jupiter dasa (64

days) from 6th Feb 2003, followed by Rahu(40 days),

Venus(70 days), Sun(22 days), Moon(42 days), Mars(28

days), Mercury(62 days), Saturn(66 days) and Jupiter

(64 days) in one continuous sequence.

 

4. Future Annual Jupiter period for 64 days from 6th

Feb2003: Jupiter as Lagna and 4th Lord is placed in

10th house in dasamsa with Mercury in Virgo sign.

Abmitious behaviour and things can fructify subject to

some strong efforts. Also only Mercury and jupiter

periods are good in 2003 , other periods require lot

of efforts on a comparision basis. you can calculate

the dates as given above.

 

5. Past Annual Jupiter period for 64 days from

1/19/2002 Jupiter as 8th and 11th Lord in 6th house in

dasamsa was full of struglles and you might have got

a job after tremedous struggle only.

 

6. Conclusions: You have a good period financially for

next 4/5 months based on vimshottari dasa until

mercury/saturn/sun starts, but getting a job depends

upon your efforts only. In general 2002 was a very
