Guest guest Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Vyam Vyasa-devaya namah! .......................... Dear List and repected Gurus, In the Tamil jyotish magazine (Kumudam Jyotidam), the famous classic jyotish A.M.Rajagopalan said that if Sukra (venus) is the lord of 6th (it happens only for dhanus asc natives) and if Sukra's mahadasa of 20 yrs comes in ones life, it is one kind of Sukra dosam. I am curious as to what will be the ill effects of this dosa? For Sg lagna natives will Sukra mahadasa be good/bad, even if Sukr is in trikona house like 9? What if for Sg asc natives Sukra (lord of 6,11) and Sani (lord of 2,3 and natural karaka of dustana houses) conjoin in house 9. Is it still a VRY? Thanks, Siva Chinnasamy. Guest guest Report post Posted November 3, 2002 Om Krishna Guru Dear Siva Chinnasamy, Shukra is lord of the 6th for Taurus lagna. The article must mean that Shukra is a functional malefic for Dhanus lagna. However, do also consider the bhaadhaka sthana Gemini and Mercury. If both Venus and Mercury are placed in Gemini in the 7th, then there are in baadhaka sthana. Evaluate their positions from AL. An evaluation can be done for all Vargas according to the ascendant of each varga. (After initial assessment of strengths from Rasi).
