The Nodes

Just a general question,

I was just wondering why the nodes Rahu & Ketu are not considered at all in the KAS points system.Other vedic texts attach a great deal of importance to these bodies.Effectively one has to revert back to other methods of jyotish to predict the effects of these bodies during their dashas or antardashas.For example if i would like to know the strengths and distosition of Rahu & Ketu purely on the points system of the KAS is there any way of doing this?

KAS

is no different from VA. Here we are focusing on Timing of Events portion

only.  This is not given clearly in any

of the vedic texts on how to time events.  Ashtakavarga is an important tool which has

been lost over time along with nadis where a lot of

calculations need to be done.  This all

has been saved with our Guru ji and he has given

opened this system and its calculation for TIMING OF EVENTS portion.

Now,

Ra and Ke are used. 

If you read the lessons then it will become clear on how to use it for

timing of event.  For example if certain

event will take place in Ra or Ke antra, then if u

use KAS properly, you will be able to judge properly.

In

addition, if you go to Donna ji’s website at http://krushna.sageasita.com and then

got to KAS Visual, then in Visual 1 will provide you with an approach on how to

judge how Ra and Ke will act as a samdharmi.

Visual 1, does clarify my doubt.

I am still very new to vedic astrology, and its quite vast and complicated.But astakavarga does seem to simplify things, and your material is very well compiled.A good deal of time must have been spent in preparing the wooksheets and tutorials.Trying to learn when ever i get time.
