Thankyou very much for your nice reply. Now I am sending this note after

completing the grahana tharpanam.

 

Till last year, I was doing Mahalaya tharpanam only on starting day, Maha

Bharani, Madhyashtami, vyathipatham, gajachayai and the thithi day.

 

1.Is it ok to start doing it on all days from this year during mahalayam?

2.If yes, is it ok to perform the mahalaya tharpanam today because grahana

tharpanam is done already?

3.In another mail, you had mentioned about the Mahalayam. If pathni is out of

house, tharpanam should be stopped only for those 3 days

and continue the remaining? If thithi comes on any of these days, then can we

do it later (when?)

" Maha Bharani, Madhyashtami, vyathipatham, gajachayai and the thithi day " is the

order of preference to do " Sakrun Mahalayam " as listed by you.

No need to do it particularly in the (parent's) thithi day.

The days which were left while the pathni's abscence, not required to do later.

Pathni's leave is not 3 days, it should be maintained for the 4th day also for

vaideeka karyams.
