His disciple was Vaikunta Vaasi KozhiyAlam Swamy , another giant in our SampradhAyam. KOzhiyAlam Swamy's disciple was Abhinava Desika Sri UtthamUr Swamy of the MUnithraya SampradhAyam. The work for building an ashramam for Kethandapatti Swamy in Lakshmipuram ,Swamy's Janma Sthalam,is progressing at a feverish pitch,the foundation has been finished and cured .Brick work will start any time now . I also met Mr.Pattibhiraman mama who is the president of Kethandapatti Satsampradaya sabha and briefed him about our endavour.I promised to take him to lakshmipuram and bring him back safely to enable him to see our idea shaping up.We are all going for Garuda Sevai on 13th May.You may look up www.varadarajaswamy.com to get an idea of this ancient Srivaishnavite temple which is almost 750 years old. V.Sadagopan - mukund yennappan (AT) computer (DOT) net Monday, April 17, 2006 10:22 PM maha desikan trust Namaskaram Sir, My name is Mukund Rangaswamy.We are from the lineage of Sri Kethandapatti swamy.I'am the "ellu Peran" of the revered swamy.We have set up a trust in the name of the swamy called Sri Ranga Ramanuja Maha Desikan Trust which was registered in 1977.The swamy's janma sthalam is in lakshmipuram,Kuppam,Chittor Dist.where we intend to build an ashramam in his memorial through the trust.The ancestral house where the swamy was born has been acquired by the trust and we are now starting construction activity with full vigour.. I would like to know from you if we can gather like minded people to promote this trust and establish and propogate the ideals of the Swamy. Would like to hear your thoughts on this Sir. I am copying the list members in the hope that soem of them and especially Sri UtthamUr Swamy's sishya Paramparai would like to get in touch with you to support the remaining kaimkaryams there at Lakshmipuram . Iam delighted to inform you that the memorial has been consecrated in the August presence of Parakala Mutt Swamy with great fervor.We have built about 600 sq feet of floor space with a small attached kitchnette,and a bathroom for snanam etc.We have the moolavar vigharams of Kethandapatti Swami with the captivating Moolavar of Lakshmi Hayagreevar.Nithyapadi is going on with out interruptions. A lot more is to be done now.After the initial frenzy and unstinted enthusiasm it is equally important to keep up the place buzzing with various activities.We have planned to teach Veda Prabandham to all who are interested and have regular discourses by eminent vedic scholars.We also plan to take care of old and invalid Brahamanas and plan to extend a helping hand to the best possible extent,by doing all this activity we will ensure that the community around will benefit and people will look towards this ashram and the Sri Prasanna VardarajaSwamy temple as a solace for their problems. May I request you to help us out in our endavour? May I on behalf of the RangaRamanuja MahaDesikan Trust request you to put us in your list of funding activity this year, which will enable us to sustain the various activity we have planned through out the year?
