Guest guest Report post Posted August 15, 2007 Namaste. Last weekend the 15th annual Kali Puja was held in Laguna Beach California. I invite all of Ma's devotees to visit www.kalimandir.org for more information about this wonderful organization and this annual event. The head pujari from Ma's temple in Dakshineswar comes, with his assistant, to conduct pujas and a homa in honor of Sri Ramakrishna and Sri Sharada Devi as well as to the sacred murti of Ma Kali Dakshineswari of Laguna Beach. This is an event not to be missed by any of Ma's devotees. Please plan to come next year on the dark moon in August. There is a lovely hotel to stay at that is near the temple location that is quite reasonably priced. People from all cultures come to worship Ma in Her glory. Prasad meals are served and there is an opportunity to make one's own offering during the puja. I have been a blessed devotee of Ma Kali for the last 30 years and this annual event serves to renew my faith and joy. It is also an opportunity to meet devotees from all over the world who gather to honor and worship our Divine Mother Kali.
