Pranams.

I am K S Venkataraman. I am an Indian residing at No.6, Sai Baba Colony,

Third Cross St., Virugampakkam, Chennai-600092, India. My age is 63. I am a

smartha brahmin worshipping Shiva and Parvathi, though all other forms of

Almighty are held by me as the manifestations of the one and only God.

Yaadhoru dheivam kandeer atheivamaaki anke Madhorubhaganaarthaan varuvar.

(Whatever Divine form you have seen, only the Ardhanaareeswara comes in that

form.)

I am a retired government official. Even while in service, I served in

research and publishing wings only. After retirement, I am actively engaged,

as a freelance Editor and Publisher, in spreading knowledge on Hinduism,

Vedic Heritage, Yoga and Self Development. In the last 15 years, by God's

Grace, I have been instrumental in bringing out several general and

devotional books. I am teaching Yoga freely in a Shiva temple in Chennai.

I am now organizing an international monthly magazine in English, by name

Nitya Kalyan, with the same objectives noted above, with the blessings of

Sri Kalyana Bhagavathy Peetam, Chennai, as a no-profit-no-loss endevor.

This has made it necessary for me to widen my contacts and enlarge my

satsang. This is not only because I would need subscriptions but also I

would need contributions of various scholars to present ideas in the fields

chosen above.

That is when I came to know about this group. As I thought that I could get

support and encouragement from this group for my efforts; and that I could

also try to be of some use to the group, I have requested admission to this

group.
