shivA kalyANarUpA ca shivadA ca shivapriyA..6..

priye dAtari cA shabdaH shivA tena prakIrtitA.

 

The one who is indicated by words/phrases like - one who is the

personification of auspiciousness, the giver of good things, Lord shiva's

beloved, very dear to all and auspicious, She is known as "shivA".

 

satI

 

pativratA sushIlA yA sA satI parikIrtitA..7..

 

The one who is ever devoted to Her husband and is of good character is known

as "satI".
