Hi friends,

Since this group is devoted to Shakti Sadhana, many of you must have read

Chandipath and Devi Bhagwat.

Pls. tell how many yers back(thousands, lakhs, crores) Shumbh- Nishumbh and

Chand-Mund born and killed by Maa Shakti.

Dear Dhirendra:

Does it matter whether it was at this date or that date or whether it REALLY

happened or is a mere allegorical story of a sadhak's everyday life as Nora

pointed out?

I find this obsession to date things in many people. Are they not missing the

really important things in life and upasana by searching for irrelevancies.

when we searc for something, there must be a purpose. Tell me what do you

achieve by such dating?

Sorry I am not being hash. But I feel this is a ftile quest. Maybe Dhiendra has

a purpose that he can enlighten us about.

One can always calculate the date back of Sri Ram and Krishn, but I dont find

similar Age reference in this case.

Pls. assist if you can.
