Guest guest Report post Posted May 3, 2001 Paddy Hinduism has never, unlike others, made a business out of religion. Let us protect it from being transformed into a business of Hinduism. It should be free and open to all who ever is interested. Funds are raised out of donations that people give of their own accord. In none of the Ramkrishana order institutions I was ever asked to pay to learn about Hinduism or Vendanta. If religious gurus are asking for a fee, I would better refrain from learning from these 'commercial gurus'. How about a one week or one month trial period so users can get hooked on the site? If the site has value to people, they may be willing to pay. If I come to your door preaching religion, and ask for money first, will you you believe that I am sincere? Won't you get a bad impression?
